The closed net area of the building is 7529.7 m²; Volume 98 450 m³. This structure should be considered as the most significant achievement in the history of the former theory and practice of reinforced concrete.
The hangar consists of three spherical shells with an area of 36.4 x 36.4 m and located one after another and of seven short cylindrical shells with an area of 6.8 x 36.4 m and of eight edge members with 2 links – a trust, reinforced concrete posts and frames
(transverse cross-sections 60 x 60 cm; 60 x 110 and 60 x 130 cm).

Nordecon to reconstruct Tallinn’s Kivimurru Street on time
05. june 2013Nordecon AS completed the construction of a new rainwater sewer at Kivimurru Street in Tallinn. The street that had in the meantime been closed, got a new full-length covering and has been open to traffic for quite some time now. The total cost of the work was 1.31 million euros inclusive of VAT.

The building will be opened today. This engineeringly sophisticated building designed for research work cost EUR 403,635 plus VAT.
