Quality
The quality policy of Nordecon ensures the construction of agreed works according to the wishes and needs of clients thanks to project documentation, legislation regulating construction activities, applicable norms and the integrated management system of the company.
The main goals of the quality policy are:
- satisfaction of clients;
- transparency and correctness of activities;
- a high level of professionalism among employees; and
- being innovative.
Management system
Management systems for quality, protection of the environment and occupational health and safety have been created and introduced in Nordecon; the conformity of the systems to the requirements of international standards are verified by certificates ISO 9001 (issued on 17.11.1999 for the first time), ISO 14001 (issued on 18.04.2002 for the first time) and OHSAS 18001 (issued on 19.05.2009 for the first time) by DNV (Det Norske Veritas) Business Assurance.

Certificates are valid for the following product or service ranges: design, main contracting and project management in construction; real estate development and production of the construction materials.
The environment
The environmental policy of Nordecon ensures minimal harmful impact on the surrounding environment during construction activities.
The main goals of the environmental policy are:
- constant monitoring and assessment of environmental impact;
- minimising harmful aspects both preventively and during the construction process;
- constant growth of awareness of employees and co-operation partners; and
- usage of technology, equipment and materials that are safe for the environment.
Occupational health and safety
The occupational health and safety policy ensures a decrease in factors that are hazardous to employees and other related persons. The capacity for work of employees and a high-quality and safe working environment are important for us.
The main goals of occupational health and safety are to:
- minimise risks and prevent occupational accidents; and
- raise awareness among employees and subcontractors of occupational health and safety.

Nordecon’s turnover increased in Q1 by more than a quarter when compared to the previous year
10. may 2012The sales revenue of Nordecon AS amounted to 22.5 million euros in Q1 of 2012, which is 27% more on the year-over-year basis. The group recorded gross profit of 36,000 euros in Q1, which means year-over-year improvement of approximately 109,000 euros. The volume of the contracts portfolio and continuous rise in the efficiency of the construction activities allows the group to see the remaining year with moderate optimism.
Nordecon signed a contract with Selvaag Sakala for the construction of an office building in Tallinn city centre
09. may 2012Nordecon AS and Selvaag Sakala OÜ, a subsidiary of the Norwegian real estate group Selvaag Gruppen, signed a contract for the construction of an office building in Tallinn city centre, at Kentmanni 4/Sakala 10. The cost of construction work will be approximately 4.3 million euros.
Nordecon receives award for world’s best metal roof at trade fair
12. april 2012At the Eesti Ehitab 2012 trade fair today, Detlef Strauch, Secretary-General of the International Federation for the Roofing Trade, presented Nordecon AS with the award for its construction of the best metal roof in the world – that of the Ahhaa Science Centre.
Composition of the Management Board of Nordecon AS to change
10. april 2012With a view to enhancing the management structure of the Nordecon group and regulating the management of the core business, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Nordecon AS will propose, at the regular meeting of the Supervisory Board to be held on 30 April 2012, to change the composition of the Management Board of Nordecon AS.
