Safety islands will be built at intersections, and safety islands will also be built in the direction of entry into Misso small town to slow down the traffic.

“In addition to the sections of Missokülä-Hindsa and Misso small town  of the main road No. 7 Riga-Pihkva, the reconstruction also covers the recovery repair of the cover of the main road No. 2 Tallinn-Tartu-Võru-Luhamaa km 268,588–274,955, and moreover, two more dangerous places in terms of traffic will be eliminated: with the help of chicanes on the secondary road Kööpa-Obinitsa-Petseri km 9, 6-9.7 in Otsa village, and the Võrumõisa intersection at 0.882 in Võru-Põlva km is being rebuilt,” said Ain Pähkel, Director of Road Construction. "During the construction of Missokülä-Hindsa, temporary traffic control is used, and both passenger cars and pedestrians need to follow signs of temporary traffic control."

During construction, the road embankment will be repaired, a new drainage layer will be built, ditches will be cleaned, old ones will be repaired, and new culverts will be built. The new pavement is a double-layered asphalt concrete cover on a complex stabilized base.
