Nordecon to build a 16-story apartment building by Lasnamäe Channel
Nordecon and Liven Kinnisvara have concluded a contract for the execution of the second stage 2 of the Virbi 10 Central Residence project – the construction of a 16-storey apartment building. Virbi Street 10 ground floor will house commercial premises, the building will hold 75 apartments in total. The capacity of the contract is about 6.5 million euros with VAT included.
“The convenient location of Virbi Street with its great connections, including public transportation links with downtown, have created a lot of interest in the clients to move here to central Lasnamäe,” said Andero Laur, partner at Liven Knnisvara. “Central Residence is first and foremost characterised by high quality building and finishing, we have also paid special attention to security. One reason we chose Nordecon was their use of BIM technologies in construction, which helps to ensure high quality.”
“Liven Kinnisvara is an experienced real estate developer, skilled at demanding high quality construction service which we are sure to deliver,” said Avo Ambur, Board Member at Nordecon AS. “We are currently executing stage 1 of Central Residence – the five-storey apartment building at Virbi 8, and will now erect a higher 16-storey apartment building next to it. We will start the construction woks in June; the building will be ready and fit for moving in by October 2017.”
Central Residence (http://www.virbi.ee/) has been designed by Raiko Reinson. The building complex has a total of 11 0000 m2 of gross floor area. The underground car park has 118 parking spaces, the courtyard car park is separated with a barrier and has 24 parking spaces. A playground will be set up in the courtyard. The buildings have energy class B, each apartment features an individual ventilation device, a carefully considered security service is planned in cooperation with security firm G4S.
