Nordecon enters into a contract for construction of an 8-storey apartment building in Stockholm

Swencn AB, a Nordecon Group company, entered into a contract with the Swedish property development company Brabo Stockholm AB for construction of an 8-storey apartment building in Stockholm. The construction works on the 8-storey building in the centre of Upplands Väsby will be completed in June 2018. The value of the contract is approximately 6.3 million euros plus value added tax.

“We have been operating actively in Sweden for a bit over a year now, which is a microscopically short period by the standards of the Swedish business culture, but it seems that we have been able to come across as a reliable company – this contract with Brabo Stockholm AB, a very professional company of a long history, is evidence of that,” said Jaano Vink, Chairman of the Board of AS Nordecon. “Nordecon is currently building two other construction buildings in Stockholm, which means that we are gathering experience step-by-step and continue to learn. Our highest goal is to continue to slightly increase the percentage of foreign markets in the sales by operating in Ukraine and Finland in addition to Sweden,” Jaano Vink added.

Väsby Terrass is an 8-storey apartment building with 59 1-3-bedroom apartments with a large balcony or terrace. On the ground floor of the building, there is a gym and a storage room/workshop for bikes.

Upplands Väsby is a locality and parish centre in the Stockholm County, Uppland Parish, Sweden. Upplands Väsby is a 30-minute train ride away from both Stockholm and Uppsala. The Arlanda Airport is about 15 minutes away.

Brabo is a subsidiary of the family business Mattssons Property AB, which was founded in Norrköping in 1930. Brabo is 100% owned by its parent company and is operating in the field of property development in and around Stockholm and in Norrköping.
