In Nordecon International AS we have created and implemented quality and environment management systems complying with the requirements of the international ISO standard. This has been confirmed by the ISO 9001 (first on 9/12/1999) and ISO 14001 (first on 18/04/2002) certificates issued by the certification authority Det Norske Veritas.

The company quality, environment and occupational health and safety management principles of the company are provided in the quality, environment and occupational health and safety policy.

The quality policy of Nordecon is to make sure that the construction work carried out by the company corresponds to the client’s needs and normative acts regulating construction activities.

Nordecon constantly commits to improve the productivity of our environmental activities, in order to decrease damages to the environment both during the preparations of construction and during construction works.

The company aims at the reduction of the adverse impact caused by the hazards compromising the employees of the company and the persons related to the activity ot the company, thereby ensuring the preservation of the capacity for work of the emplyees and a better working environment for both employees and other persons related to the activity of the company.

In 2003 we rearranged our quality and environmental management system according to the requirements of standard EVS-EN ISO 9001:2000 and established an integral system regulating the occupational health and safety activities.

Today, our environmental activities are in compliance with the requirements of the EVS-EN ISO standard.

A quality department has been established as a separate structural unit in the company. Its task is to provide advice and carry out inspections throughout the design and construction process.
